Leadership
Kristie Temple, Executive Director
Kristie Temple graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Accounting in 2003 and has held a Certified Mississippi Teacher license since 2008. She has worked in the public school system for over 15 years, teaching English, Math, and Special Education.
Kristie's interest in afterschool programs began when her own son attended afterschool and needed that one-on-one, small group learning environment. She is passionate about creating enriching and supportive learning experiences for all children.
Her favorite thing about what she does is developing relationships with the children that she teaches and their families. She believes that small class sizes and the development of a strong community allow her and her team to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.
All teachers are CPR certified, have undergone a background check, received health and safety training, and hold a degree in Elementary Education, either an AA or BS, and/or hold a Mississippi Certified Teacher's license.
